Cleaner Wimbledon Service Terms and Conditions

Cleaner arriving for a scheduled Wimbledon property cleaning serviceThese Terms and Conditions set out the basis on which Cleaner Wimbledon provides domestic and commercial cleaning services in the UK. By making a booking, confirming an appointment, or allowing access to a property for a scheduled clean, the customer agrees to be bound by these terms. They are designed to create a clear understanding of how bookings are made, how payment is handled, what cancellations mean, and where responsibility lies if issues arise. These terms apply to all standard cleaning, one-off cleaning, regular cleaning, deep cleaning, end of tenancy cleaning, and related service requests unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

In these terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the cleaning provider, while “you” and “your” refer to the customer, client, or person booking the service. References to Wimbledon cleaner, Cleaner Wimbledon service, and similar wording all refer to the same service provider and the same contractual relationship. If any part of these terms is not understood, the customer should review them carefully before placing a booking. Continued use of the service after any update to these terms will mean acceptance of the updated version.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that all information provided during booking is accurate and complete. This includes the service address, access instructions, preferred date and time, type of cleaning required, any special requirements, and any known risks that may affect the service. Cleaning in Wimbledon and surrounding areas can involve a variety of property types and service needs, so the customer must provide enough detail for the service to be delivered safely and effectively. Failure to provide correct information may lead to delay, additional charges, or service refusal.

Bookings may be made by telephone, email, online form, or through any other booking method offered by the business from time to time. A booking is not confirmed until it has been accepted by us and, where required, a deposit or advance payment has been received. We reserve the right to decline a booking where we are unable to meet the requested service level, where access arrangements are unsuitable, or where the property condition presents a health and safety concern. The booking confirmation will usually include the date, approximate arrival window, scope of work, and price basis.

Our Cleaner Wimbledon team may request photographs, additional information, or a short description of the property before accepting a booking. This helps us allocate time, staff, and equipment appropriately. If the service requested changes after confirmation, we may revise the quoted price or service duration. Any change must be agreed before the appointment begins. If the customer asks for additional tasks on the day of service, these may be accepted only if time, staff availability, and equipment permit it.

Booking and scheduling documents for a cleaning appointmentIt is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the property is accessible at the agreed time. This includes arranging entry, providing keys or access codes, securing pets, and removing any barriers that might prevent the cleaning from being completed. If access is not available, our team may be unable to wait beyond a reasonable period, and the visit may be treated as a late cancellation or wasted appointment. Where keys are held by us, they will be handled with reasonable care, but the customer remains responsible for secure arrangements and accurate instructions.

Prices are normally based on the type of cleaning, the size and condition of the property, the frequency of service, and any special requirements or equipment needed. All quoted prices are valid only for the period stated in the quotation or booking confirmation. Unless otherwise stated, quotes are based on information supplied by the customer and assume normal domestic or commercial conditions. If the actual work required differs materially from what was described, we may adjust the price before the service continues. Any material increase will be explained wherever reasonably possible.

Payments must be made in the manner and by the deadline agreed at the time of booking. We may require full payment in advance, a deposit, payment on completion, or payment by invoice depending on the service type and customer arrangement. For recurring Cleaner Wimbledon services, payment schedules may be weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or per visit as agreed. Late payment may result in suspension of services, refusal to attend future appointments, or recovery action. Any bank charges, card processing fees, or costs associated with unpaid amounts may be added where permitted by law and clearly stated in advance.

Unless stated otherwise, all prices are in pounds sterling and may be inclusive or exclusive of VAT depending on the business status at the time. If VAT applies, this will be shown where required by law. Promotional offers, discounts, and special rates may be withdrawn at any time and may not be combined unless expressly stated. The Wimbledon cleaning service may also charge for materials, parking, congestion-related costs, or other disbursements where these are necessary and have been agreed in advance.

Cleaning checklist and payment details for a UK service agreementCancellations must be made with reasonable notice. For regular or one-off cleaning appointments, we ask customers to provide at least 24 hours’ notice where possible. For larger jobs, deep cleans, or end of tenancy services, longer notice may be required and may be specified in the booking confirmation. If notice is given after the agreed period, a cancellation fee may apply. This fee reflects the reserved time, staff allocation, and any preparation already undertaken for the service.

If the customer is not present, cannot be contacted, or cannot provide access within the agreed time window, the appointment may be recorded as a missed visit and charged in full or in part. Where our staff have already arrived, prepared equipment, or travelled to the location, reasonable charges may be applied even if the cleaning does not take place. Any cancellation by us will normally be communicated as soon as reasonably possible. In such circumstances, we may offer a rescheduled appointment, but we do not guarantee availability on a particular alternative date.

If a customer repeatedly cancels at short notice, changes appointments without sufficient warning, or fails to provide access on multiple occasions, we may require advance payment for future bookings or decline further service. This approach helps maintain fair scheduling for all customers and ensures that staff time is used efficiently. A Cleaner Wimbledon service relies on clear scheduling, and repeated disruption may affect the ability to provide reliable service.

We will perform our services with reasonable skill and care, using suitable products and methods for the agreed cleaning task. However, cleaning results can vary depending on the age, condition, and material of surfaces, as well as previous wear, staining, or neglect. Some marks, odours, limescale, mould, ingrained dirt, or permanent staining may not be fully removable. We do not guarantee restoration of items or surfaces to a “like new” condition unless this has been specifically agreed in writing as part of a specialist service.

The customer must inform us in advance of any fragile items, special surfaces, hidden defects, alarms, security systems, or areas requiring special attention. We will not be liable for damage arising from pre-existing faults, unsuitable materials, poor maintenance, or the customer’s failure to give adequate instructions. If the customer requests that we clean delicate items or use particular products contrary to our recommendation, this may be done only at the customer’s risk and with appropriate acknowledgement.

If damage is alleged, the customer must notify us as soon as reasonably possible and in any event within 48 hours of the service taking place. The claim should include a description of the issue and, where possible, photographs or other evidence. We may need access to inspect the alleged damage and, where relevant, to discuss the matter with insurers or suppliers. Our liability will be limited to the direct loss caused by our proven negligence, and we shall not be responsible for indirect, consequential, or financial losses beyond what the law requires.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded under UK law. Subject to that, our total liability for any claim relating to a service will be limited to the amount paid or payable for the relevant booking, unless a different limit is required by statute. Customers are encouraged to hold suitable insurance for valuable possessions, specialist surfaces, or business premises where relevant.

Responsible waste handling during a professional cleaning serviceWe are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, traffic disruption, transport failure, strikes, power outages, utility interruptions, infectious disease restrictions, or access problems created by third parties. If such circumstances prevent us from attending or completing the service, we will try to rearrange the appointment, but we will not be liable for losses caused by the disruption itself. In some cases, a partial service may be provided if it is safe and practical to do so.

The customer must ensure that the working environment is reasonably safe. This includes providing adequate lighting, safe access, and warning us about hazards such as broken glass, exposed wiring, unstable flooring, aggressive pets, or hazardous materials. If conditions are unsafe, we may refuse to continue until the risk is removed. Where appropriate, we may stop the service entirely and charge for time already spent. A responsible Wimbledon cleaner service depends on safe working conditions for both staff and occupants.

Waste removal is handled in accordance with applicable UK waste and environmental requirements. Unless specifically agreed in writing, we do not provide a general rubbish clearance service and we do not remove controlled, hazardous, or clinical waste. The customer remains responsible for the lawful storage, segregation, and disposal of waste arising from the property. Any waste produced by the cleaning process, such as cloths, packaging, or small amounts of ordinary refuse, will be dealt with responsibly and in line with relevant regulations.

Where our staff are asked to remove waste from the property, the customer must disclose in advance the nature and quantity of the waste. We reserve the right to refuse removal of items that may breach waste regulations, create a safety risk, or require specialist handling, licensing, or disposal. Examples include paint, solvents, oils, sharps, body fluids, asbestos-related materials, electrical items, and other regulated substances. If we agree to remove permitted waste, any associated charges, vehicle costs, or disposal fees may be added to the invoice.

Customers must not request that we dispose of items unlawfully or leave waste in an inappropriate location. Any instruction that would breach environmental, health and safety, or local authority rules will be refused. If waste handling is part of an end of tenancy or after-build service, the scope must be agreed in advance and the customer should ensure that the materials to be removed are lawful, accessible, and properly identified. The Cleaner Wimbledon service will only act within the law and in accordance with responsible disposal practice.

Any complaints should be raised promptly so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, correct the issue. We may offer a revisit, price adjustment, or other reasonable remedy depending on the circumstances. A complaint does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund, and any remedy will depend on the nature of the problem, the information provided, and whether we were given a fair opportunity to resolve the matter. We may require evidence such as photographs, video, or a written explanation.

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in law, operating practices, pricing structure, or service methods. The version in force at the time of booking will generally apply to that booking unless a newer version is accepted by both parties. If any provision is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Failure by us to enforce a right at any time does not waive that right for the future.

Final legal agreement and governing law document for cleaning servicesThese Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or connected with the service, these terms, or any associated booking will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. By booking a Cleaner Wimbledon appointment, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms, and that they are authorised to enter into the agreement on behalf of all relevant occupants or business users of the property.
